SPECIAL EVENT: PADDLES & PALS PUMPKIN PIE PALOOZA!
Paddles is cooking up something special and you’re all invited!
Between October 3rd – 9th 2026, Paddles will be traveling across the country delivering invitations to all his friends to join him at the Pumpkin Pie Palooza on October 9th. (Don’t worry, you’re already on the guest list!) While you wait for him to come home, you get to have some fun and raise some funds!
This special event kicks off on Saturday October 3rd and wraps up on Friday October 9th with a big Fundraiser Finale in honour of Food Banks Canada!

How It Is Going To Work:
Beginning Saturday October 3rd, the Daily Magnet Draw Package will be posted on the blog at 9AM and will remain open for a full 24 hours with the draw value listed in each post. You will still be able to send your etransfers and call in for magnets same as always, you’ll just have more time.
But that extra time is where the magic happens. Because, if more magnets than the value of the draw are sold, the net proceeds will be added to the total amount that will be donated to Food Banks Canada.
For Example: If a draw package value was 100 tickets ($2000) but 150 tickets ($3000) were sold, the extra value of $1000 would be added to the fundraiser total.
As an extra incentive, Food Banks Canada currently has a Matching Initiative until October 12th, so all donations will have twice the impact! It’s the time of the year to give thanks for all you have, and help those in need. Plus, if you get a chance to win some incredible items while you do some good, that’s even better!
There are a total of Six Magnet Draws that will each run for a full 24 hours leading up to the finale. Each draw’s entries will be kept separate until the winner is chosen. Then, as a special thank you for helping us raise some funds, we will be putting ALL BALLOTS SOLD from any of the Pumpkin Pie Palooza draws into the Food Bank Fundraiser Finale package!
The Fundraiser will run from 9AM – 4PM on Friday October 9th. And guess what the Fundraiser package includes? Yeah, that’s right. It’s A CADEX!
Every draw you enter between October 3rd – 9th will get you a chance to win the daily magnet draw, the Cadex Grand Prize, AND helps raise money for an amazing charity. You really can’t go wrong!
The Food Bank Fundraiser Finale Package is valued at $13040 and includes:
- Cadex CDX-33 Lite Bolt Action Rifle in 338 Lapua
- Cadex Drag Bag
- Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25×56 Scope
- THS Very Famous Store Hat
- And of course, Paddles, Moose on the Loose Mini-Me
SUMMARY
- A new draw begins each day at 9AM from Saturday October 3rd – Thursday October 8th and runs for 24hrs.
- Draw has pre-determined set value, but no ticket limit
- Net proceeds raised over the set draw value will be added to the total donation for Food Banks Canada
- All entries into any of the packages through the Pumpkin Pie Palooza will be automatically entered into the Food Bank Fundraiser Finale Package
- The Food Bank Fundraiser Finale Package will be posted at 9AM on Friday October 9th and will close at 4pm
- All net proceeds over and above the amount of the finale package will be added to the total donation for Food Banks Canada
SPECIAL NOTE FOR THE EVENT:
Your usual draw team (Jen and Tanya) will be away with Paddles on his adventures, so we are leaving the boys in charge of monitoring the draws/emails. If you have any concerns or questions, your best bet will be to call the store at 613-838-8828. While they will try to keep up with all the Facebook comments, messages, or emails, phone calls will be easiest for them to follow.
