
Have you heard about our Daily Magnet Draws? They are a fun way to win some amazing prizes including firearms, compound bows, crossbows, hunting gear, and all kinds of other treasures! Draws run multiple times a day (typically morning, lunch, and afternoon), depending on how busy the store is or how quickly each draw filld up. The times are not set in stone, that’s why it’s important to register for updates (see Step 3) so you never miss out!
Step 1 – Check the Package Details
Every draw package is posted to our blog and lists the items that are included. Packages vary day to day, but we do tend to stick to some themes week to week. While these aren’t set in stone, this is the typical type of schedule we try to maintain:

| Monday | Mini-Me Multipack | Mini-Me packs could be referencing three aspects: draw size, gun caliber or gun size. It might be a draw with very few entries, a smaller caliber gun, or a compact/youth model. Multipacks would be a group of multiple guns, often of a similar style or colour. |
| Tuesday | Tactical Tuesday | All the rifles and shotguns with that “Tacti-cool” vibe. |
| Wednesday | Wild West Waterfowl | Wild West packages are usually Lever Action Rifles, occasionally we’ll throw in an Over/Under or Side-by-Side Shotgun for good measure. Waterfowl packages are for those looking for a shotgun and often include some decoys |
| Thursday | Gun & Bow Combos | Thursdays are when we will usually include a compound or crossbow in the package with the gun. |
| Friday – Sunday | Wildcard Weekends | Whatever we feel like on the day, hard to predict but always something fun! |
Step 2 – Enter the Draw
Purchase Entry
Purchase a store fridge magnet for $20 CAD (tax included) to receive one entry into the current draw. Multiple entries are allowed while entries remain available.
Entry Methods:

– Phone Order (call 613-838-8828 using Visa/Mastercard only – debit will not work over the phone)
– In-Store Purchase (cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard all accepted)
Important: Please include your phone number with all entries so we can contact you if selected.
No Purchase Necessary Entry: No purchase is required. To receive one entry into the current draw, email: jen@thathuntingstore.com
Your email must include:
– Full name
– Phone number
– Mailing address
– A minimum 250-word original written response to: “How has That Hunting Store influenced your hunting, shooting sports, or archery hobbies?”
Limit of one no-purchase entry per person per draw. Free entries must be received before the applicable draw closes. To keep things fair, each no-purchase entry must include a unique and original written response. Duplicate or previously submitted responses may not be reused for future draws.
All entries (paid and free) are treated equally in the random draw process.
Important Entry Notes
If a draw fills before your entry is received, your entry will automatically roll into the next available draw unless otherwise requested.
Completed entries are final and non-refundable*.
*If you accidentally send us the wrong amount (extra zeros have been known to sneak in) or if you sent us a transfer by mistake, give us a call 613-838-8828 or Email Jen and we’ll get you all sorted out, don’t worry!

If you want to make sure that you never miss a draw, make sure you register to receive the email notifications when our blog is posted.
FAQs
| How are the winners actually drawn? | All entries are written onto individual paper slips and placed into a draw container. A randomly selected customer not participating in the draw then selects the winning entry. |
| How are prize packages selected? | We pick the packages shortly before they are posted. We pick them as we go to accommodate for new arrivals, requests, ideas, funny picture inspiration. Unless it’s a special event plan, we usually pick them out day of. |
| Can prize items be switched for something else? | There are no substitutions or cash alternatives for prize packages. |
| Do I need to leave a comment on the Facebook post? | Comments are always appreciated on our Facebook posts but they are not required to enter. While we try to acknowledge the comments, you do not have to wait for your comment to be “liked” to enter. |
| When do draws get posted? | Typically we post the first draw of the day between 9AM – 10AM. The lunch time package between 12PM-1PM. The Afternoon package is usually posted before 3PM in the afternoon. Timing may vary depending on store activity. |
| Why don’t you post a list of people entered each draw? | We prioritize customer privacy and do not publish participant names. Additionally, entries are processed manually, so there is no automated master list generated. |
| How do I know if I made it into the draw? | If your entry is received before the posted closing time, it is included. Late entries are automatically moved to the next available draw unless otherwise specified. |
